Macquarie Centre Christmas Gift Guide Wish List Competition 2008

Entry to the competition is open to all persons residing in NSW except employees of AMP Capital Shopping Centres Pty Limited and their immediate family, tenants in the centre and their immediate family, the staff of tenants in the centre and their immediate family, the proprietors and staff of companies involved in the production, publishing and administration of this promotion and their immediate family. Immediate family means parents, siblings, spouse, children and grandparents. Tenants means Lessees, Licensees and in the case of a corporation, its directors.
The promoter is AMP Capital Shopping Centres Pty Limited A.B.N No 13 001 595 955 c/-Macquarie Centre, Cnr Herring Road &Waterloo Road, North Ryde NSW 2113.
To enter customers log on to www.macquariecentre.com.au, click on the link to the Gift Guide. On the gift Guide, there is a link to “create a wish list and WIN” where they will be asked to register their personal details and create a wish list, using correct name and email address on the entry form on the site, which will give them an entry to win.They are able to share this wish list and email it to anyone they choose to share their wish list with. Any incorrect name or email will invalidate entry to competition.
Customers can enter only once when they create their wish list and are able to refer friends through sharing their wish list and emailing it to them. The customer is able to share (refer) their wish lists with their friends and family, and for every person they referred who enters the competition by creating their own wish list, the customer will gain an extra entry into the draw to win.
The prizes that 1 x customer can win includes a $2000.00 Macquarie Centre Gift Voucher which can only be used at participating retailers within Macquarie shopping centre as per the terms and conditions of the Gift Voucher. These terms and conditions of the Gift Voucher use are available at Customer Service on Level 3 at Macquarie Centre, Cnr Herring Road &Waterloo Road, North Ryde NSW 2113.
The prize is valued at $2000.00 and is correct at the time of publication. The prizes are supplied by Macquarie Centre. The promoter agrees to provide the prize.
The prize/s is not redeemable for cash and is not transferable.
The competition commences on Monday 17 November 2008 at 9:00am and entries close at 9:00am on Monday 29 December 2008.
The prize draw will take place at the offices of Mesh Evolution Pty Ltd on Monday 29 December 2008 at 11am. The judge’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
Proof of identity will be required when claiming prizes. The prize must be collected within 90 days of being notified. Competition winners must pick up their prize from Centre Management Macquarie Centre, Cnr Herring & Waterloo Roads, North Ryde, NSW, 2113. In the event of a winner not claiming their prize within the specified time, the prize will be returned to the pool and a new winner drawn.
Instructions on how to enter form part of these conditions. When entering, a customer must register to create a wish list and they will go into the draw to win.
The winner of the prize will be notified via email or phone on Monday 29 December 2008.
Claiming of the prize is consent to use your name, address and photograph for promotional and marketing and publicity purposes. The winner’s details will be published on the Macquarie Centre website for a period of 7 days after being contacted and will be on the following e-newsletter.
Entrants consent is given to the promoter for holding, using and disclosing information about entrants for the research, marketing and promotional purposes of the promoter and its related companies. Please contact the promoter if you later wish to correct information that it holds.
The promoter shall not be liable for any loss or damage whatsoever which is suffered (including but not limited to indirect or consequential loss) or for any personal injury suffered or sustained as a result of claiming or receiving the prize or any extra cost incurred with the prize including any extra costs or charges that may be incurred or associated with the usage of the prizes except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law. The Promoter is not responsible for transport for the winners to collect their prizes from Macquarie Centre.
If the winner is under the age of 18, the prize will be awarded to the winner’s parent or guardian.
If for any reason this competition is not capable of running as planned (whether caused by infection by computer virus, line drop out, bugs, tampering, unauthorised intervention, fraud, technical failures or any other cause beyond the control of the Promoter which corrupts or affects the administration, security, fairness or integrity of the Promotion), the Promoter reserves the right in its sole discretion, (subject to any written direction given by a relevant regulatory authority), to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the promotion. The Promoter may in its sole discretion disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry process.
Entries are deemed to be received at the time of receipt into the Promoter's database. The Promoter is not responsible for receipt of incorrect, inaccurate or incomplete information either caused by website users or by any of the equipment or programming associated or utilised in this competition, or by any technical error that may occur in the course of administration of this competition. The Promoter assumes no responsibility for any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission, communications line failure, theft or destruction or unauthorised access to or alteration of entries.
The promoter is not responsible for any gifts listed on the gift guide that may not be available at the time of purchase due to unavailability by the retailer.
